The training division continues to work hard in January by keeping our staff busy with a multitude of different training’s. We have completed our annual SIDS, Bloodborne Pathogens and Autism training, we have sent staff to an EMT class hosted by Scott Memorial Hospital and EMS. The crews have had training’s on cold weather pump maintenance, SOP/ SOG review, knots, rope systems, engine company operations, and many other training’s to build and maintain knowledge and skills. The training division hosted a Fire Officer Strategy and Tactics class and successfully certified 15 of our firefighters to this state of Indiana fire certification.
